Jill Warfel / Assistant Coordinator

ABOUT ME: My name is Jill and I am an assistant coordinator for Keystone. No one wants to spend your wedding day worrying about details, vendors, or hiccups…except for us! All of this organizing and problem-solving is what I like to do for fun, and I love getting to see your vision for your big day be executed and making sure everything is beautiful. My wedding was in 2020, so I have plenty of practice with problem solving! I am now a new Hendersonville local, and a dog mom to my two babies Winnie and Goose.

CURRENT FULL-TIME JOB: I work as an IT analyst contractor to the federal government, which sounds incredibly nerdy. Really it’s just a lot of coordinating, organizing, and spreadsheets which makes my little Excel-loving heart happy. I obviously don’t get enough organizing from my day job, so I get to have extra fun as a wedding coordinator!

HOW I CAME TO KEYSTONE: I was blessed enough to have Katie as my cheerleading coach in high school in Virginia - long enough ago that we aren’t going to mention it. Having her as a person in my corner did wonders for the self-confidence of an awkward teenage girl, and I always felt like we would make great adult friends. When I moved to western NC, I couldn’t WAIT to tell her and lowkey invite myself to be part of Keystone because I know what an amazing thing it is to work with her.

FAVORITE PART OF A WEDDING: When we arrive to a wedding and get to check in with a bride and see where her head is at, that’s weirdly my favorite part. I love being able to listen to what’s still on her mind when she’s getting ready (and should just be thinking about marrying the love of her life!) and take those burdens from her so she can just start enjoying herself. A classic Katie line - “I got you girl!”

FAVORITE PART OF MY OWN WEDDING: At the risk of sounding corny, my favorite part of my own wedding is getting to be married! Everything was beautiful and went off without a hitch, and really I just loved everyone telling my afterwards how much fun they had.

IF I COULD DO MY OWN WEDDING OVER AGAIN, I WOULD: Have a smaller destination wedding. Who doesn’t love a built-in vacation?

FAVORITE WEDDING TREND: I love the pearl details that are coming back in a more modern fashion. They’ve always been timeless, but working them into veils, shoes, and jewelry has come back in a big way. I’ve also always loved a fun heel - big tulle bows, pearl ankle straps, crystals, something that pops!

WHAT I DO TO RELAX: I am definitely a homebody, so at the end of the day I love to snuggle on the couch with my dogs, Winnie and Goose, and read a book.

WHO YOU'D FIND ON MY PLAYLIST: Not sure if this is embarrassing or not - I was one of Megan Thee Stallion’s top listeners this year…but overall I keep a mix of early 2000s and pop rock mainly to work out to.

FAVORITE SHOW EVER: Letterkenny - You wouldn’t think a show about a small town in Canada would be that funny, but it’s worth the watch.

GO-TO COFFEE ORDER: Sweet cream nitro cold brew with extra sweet cream and two pumps of hazelnut *drool face*
